Chart the stars of a century long forgotten.

THE MYSTERIOUS FIND

Drafted in the winter of 1683 by the eccentric French royal astronomer Jacques de Broglie, this spectacular map was lost to history when the merchant vessel L’Étoile du Matin sank off the treacherous coastline of Brittany. It was only recently salvaged, meticulously scanned, and restored. Interwoven between standard zodiac figures and stellar paths are bizarre, hand-inked coordinates charting what de Broglie termed the “unseen sky void”—areas of the universe believed by some to be doorways to other planes.

Our museum-grade reproduction is printed on premium heavy cotton-giclée, retaining the rich, copper-plate engraving details, gothic astronomical symbols, and ancient parchment tones of the original artifact.
